ADHD Assessments (coming soon)
We are pleased to announce that we will soon be offering comprehensive ADHD assessments (for patients aged 18 years and over.) and ongoing care. (Date to be confirmed)
Our assessment process is designed to provide a thorough evaluation, accurate diagnosis, and personalised treatment plan. There are four stages to the ADHD assessment process.
Please note: This is a non-funded service. Fees are payable at each stage before your appointment. Progression through each stage is determined by the outcome of the previous assessment.
Step One – Initial Screening
Patient Fee:$50.00
Your ADHD assessment journey begins with an initial screening appointment with one of our Registered Nurses. This 15–30-minute consultation includes completion of a screening questionnaire and collection of relevant clinical information.
The results are then reviewed by one of our ADHD clinicians, who will determine whether it is appropriate for you to proceed to the comprehensive ADHD assessment.
Step Two – Comprehensive ADHD Assessment
Patient Fee:$400.00
This stage involves a detailed assessment by one of our specialist ADHD assessment clinicians. Your appointment will last approximately 45–60 minutes and should be completed in person.
During this consultation, your clinician will conduct a structured diagnostic interview, review your symptoms and history, explore how these affect your daily life, and assess for ADHD as well as any other relevant conditions that may be contributing to your symptoms. You will also be required to complete online assessments at this consultation.
Step Three – Diagnosis, Treatment Planning and Education
Patient Fee:$300.00(plus the cost of an ECG if required)
Following your assessment, your clinician will discuss the outcome of your evaluation and work with you to develop an individualised treatment plan.
Treatment options may include:
Medication;
Psychological therapy or counselling;
Lifestyle and behavioural strategies;
Education and wellness support.
If medication is the most appropriate option and you choose to commence treatment, your first ADHD prescription will be provided during this appointment (where clinically appropriate).
Step Four – Ongoing Care and Medication Reviews
Patient Fee: from $150.00
Following diagnosis, we provide ongoing support to help you manage your ADHD effectively.
Regular follow-up appointments with your specialist ADHD GP allow us to:
Monitor your progress.
Review and adjust medication where required.
Assess for any side effects.
Provide practical strategies and ongoing support to help you achieve the best possible outcomes in your daily life.
