I enjoy the diversity of general practice and I appreciate the bonds that I have developed with many families over the years since coming to RVMC. I am a passionate advocate for women and children's health, however at the same time, I like all aspects of general medicine. For some years now, I have been an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland Medical School and I enjoy being involved in the education of medical students. I have two children who are currently at University.
Being your family doctor is a privilege and a challenge, to keep you informed about health issues and health promotion. I love the variety involved in my daily medical life. My other great love is family - my wife Karen and two adult sons, Miles and Oliver. I take time to travel and refresh myself through the year, to keep myself up to date and ensure my own fitness and health. I am currently taking on new patients.
Being a GP is probably one of the most rewarding, challenging and humbling professions there is. A GP's role is pivotal as a provider for the diverse health requirements of the youngest, the very old, their families and their communities. To achieve our goal, we combine the caring aspects of the traditional family GP with up to date knowledge and the technology of our modern surgery. I am proud to be a member of RVMC and to be able to provide broad based skills and services to our community. I am currently taking new patients.
I enjoy General Practice because of the wonderful people and the variety of conditions, and the opportunity to care and keep learning. I am married and mother of three adult children and 2 grandchildren, all still at home. I joined RVMC in 1996 and I've enjoyed working within a group and believe Life is for Living. I look forward to being of service to the community. My hobbies are walking and sewing. I am not currently taking new patients.

Originally hailing from Brunei, I’ve been in NZ for more than 10 years. After finishing my training in medical school in Otago and graduating in 2009, I worked in the Auckland and North Shore hospitals for a few years before deciding to pursue a career in GP. I have since enjoyed my time tremendously and I look forward to meeting all patients and their families and getting to know you better. Also fluent in Mandarin and Malay. I am currently taking new patients.
